Architects Krampe Schmidt refurbished and upgraded the Universitätsklinik Marien Hospital Herne over a period of four years, including a structural restoration of the existing nursing areas and the examination and treatment areas. Light colours and modern furnishings now dominate and the well-lit rooms are equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies. Dallmer supplied 250 CeraWall Individual shower channels for fitting out the barrier-free bathrooms. They impressed the planners both with their look and the smooth and straightforward installation.
